I Know It Hurts, But It’s Far From Over

Angels vs. Rangers

Even Joe Girardi admitted that tonight’s game could have swung either way. Both teams had their opportunities, and the Yankees had the last at bat. It sucked, but it’s not over.

Game 1: In Game Recap

Before the game
Low to mid 40’s at Yankee stadium. Wow, it was 90 here today. The boys are all bundled up. Makes you wonder if this is going to have any kind of impact at all.
The Dodgers did their part to keep the “Freeway Series” talk alive, will the [...]

Angels vs. Yankees ALCS – Game 1 Preview

Los Angeles Angels vs New York Yankees @ NY 4:57pm TV: FOX
I can’t express how HUGE today’s game is. For the first time since 2005, the Angels have made it past the first round and are now competing for a spot in the World Series against none other than the New York Powerhouse: The [...]

Taking Apart The Yankees – Offense

Yankees Rodriguez homers during game 3 of the ALDS in Minneapolis

I just wanted to let all of our Yankee ESPN visitors know that I have really enjoyed the debate over the last week. The series is only a day away, but I hope you all will stay with us even after we beat you in five games. Now on the big bad Yankee offense.

The Key to the Series

Angels vs. Rangers

Some playoff match-ups have very clear story lines. Take for example the Angel-Boston just completed series. It was clearly about redemption for the Halos. The upcoming Angel-Yankee battle is a bit tougher to categorize. Sure, you have the Angels “Plan A” playing first-base for the Yankees; but the Angels are very content with Kendry “Plan A1″ Morales, don’t you think? Yankees Bullpen Follow-up

I feel the need to explain my Yankees bullpen analysis due to the concern of a number of you. I appreciate you supporting our site, so I’d like to respond.

Yes, my analysis is not nearly as comprehensive as it could be. It is simply something to think about, but regardless let me address some of your concerns.

1) “You’re drawing conclusions from five-inning samples? Really?”

Yes. This is the only sample size we have against this years Angel lineup. Just because they have had great seasons, doesn’t mean they do well against the Angels. I’m sorry if you are unhappy with the results.

Taking Apart The Yankees – Bullpen

MLB: Dodgers vs Devil Rays July 14

As I did yesterday, I’d like to address something before I get started. It seems as though Angels fans are being pressured into rooting for a Freeway Series. I myself am tired of the Dodgers and their fans who look down on us, who refuse to even recognize us as apart of this city. I would never root for the Red Sox or Yankees so that the Angels could face them. In the same way I can not get myself to root for the Dodgers. Now back to the Yankees.

ALDS Recap – We Could Be Better

Angels vs. Athletics

Let’s review the positive things the Angels did against the Red Sox, and what we need to do different. To start, the Yankees are a much better team this year than the Red Sox. The Red Sox were only considered the favorites during this series because of this stupid curse. The Angels will have to be better.
